Suggestions needed, removing pine sap from fiberglass
Does anyone have a good method of cleaning pine sap off of fiberglass? The stuff I want to take off has baked in the sun for a while and is hardened. I'm looking for something that won't mess up the gelcoat.

acetone, dont get it on decals or upholstery and finish up with meguires wax

Thanks for the help fellas. I remembered that I had some denatured alcohol and gave that a try. It took the sap right off with very little effort.

You could try going out first thing in the morning put some ice on the sap and wait for it to get real cold. Then take a semi-sharp edged blade and pop it off.
This will get 90% of it off. I would think that turpentine would get the rest of it off but I don't know if it would harm the finish.
I got some sap off my car this way. Except I did it when it was below freezing outside.
