This boat is my uncles and is pretty much just for fun. It hauls, by hauls I mean right around 80 mph with an empty boat and a near empty tank of gas. It's got a GM big block marine 454.
This is our old boat that has since been sold.

Tracy's Custom Boats in Newaygo. They did a bang-up job. I did design it, but Tracy nailed the details perfectly. Have had this idea knocking around in my head for 10 years, and it was a fun project.
A few more things to wrinkle out, but we're 98% there. Needs grabrail around glass, a bit more interior lighting, and a sound system.
Amazing how fast this thing is to get on plane, how long it stay on plane when throttling down. I took the power off a previous hull, which was a leaky dog. This is my 2nd Alaskan, but this one's a foot wider and has the IPS hull. Makes it a fun boat to drive and so far (fished Oct/Nov on Lk Mich) a great fishing platform with TONS of storage.

dit: Flipp thats sweet too. Gotta love those Hondos, Ramlundman, witrh his Lund Mr. Pike with a Honda 150 convinced me I needed a four stroke.
